My husband had his AOS interview on September 13, 2016, in the San Diego office. We had to provide them with one missing document following the interview, which was provided the next day. And … we’ve heard nothing since. Is anyone else in the San Diego region experiencing a similar delay? Our attorney requested an explanation for the delay in mid December (after the requisite amount of time has passed), and a month later in mid January we received a notice from USCIS that they had received the request from our attorney, and that they would reply to us within 90 days. So … now we wait.
We started this process over two and a half years ago (first getting our I-130 approved), and in November of 2015 we submitted the AOS (I-485). As I stated, we got the interview 10 months later in September … and since then … nothing. Anyone experiencing a similar wait? I’m getting a bit worried given the current state of affairs with the new administration. Thanks! g.
